FAQs

How long does delivery take?

From the date of order, we intend to deliver within a 72 hour (3 working day window).

However, this is just a guide at the moment, and we are working to get orders out ASAP.

How do you deliver?

We deliver in a variety of ways dependent on the product and quantity ordered. For our bagged collection we deliver using a reputable pallet-based courier who use articulated vehicles with curtain-sided trailers.

For loose bulk deliveries or collections we would use articulated vehicles with walking-floor trailers.

If you have any queries/concerns or have any specific requirements please contact us.

How big are your vehicles?

Our delivery vehicles are either 18 tonne tail lift (box vehicles) with our pallet couriers or 25 tonne (44T nett) artic vehicles. For exact vehicle specifications including height and length please contact us.

Can the products be delivered into my garden?

This is dependent on access, so deliveries are usually limited to curb side only. Our pallet courier and the delivery is restricted as there is no crane on the wagon.

What time will my order arrive?

We deliver between 7am - 6pm Monday to Friday. Because we use a pallet courier/3rd party haulier we can provide an ETA on the day - please call us on 01928 618668 on the day of delivery, from here we will provide an ETA and then the driver will call you when they are on their way to you.

Do I need to be home to accept the delivery?

We advise that someone is home to take delivery as in some cases the goods can only be left roadside. We understand that this isn't always possible though so please give clear instructions when placing your order as to where the goods needs to be left.

Do you deliver on the weekend?

In some cases we can deliver on a Saturday morning; the courier we use charges extra for a Saturday delivery so please bear this in mind! Please call us on 01928 618668 for more information.

How much is delivery?

Is your topsoil and compost weed free?

No, but this is because we don't treat any of our products with herbicides. As all of our growing products are natural and highly fertile you should expect some weeds. We advise that you purchase some anti-weed prevention membrane or mulch that will help keep weeds at bay.

How do you sell your products - are they in bags?

Yes - we stock most of our products in 750L/1T builders bags. We can also supply most goods tipped loose via artic walking floor trailers, approx. 25T delivered volume. Please call or email us for a quote.
